With the Next Tech Sandbox, you can launch a new Jupyter Notebook for Python that works exactly as it would if you had to install it yourself! Check it out:
Jupyter Notebook allows you to display, edit, and run Python code in your local environment. The control panel also gives you the ability to create, upload, and manage notebooks, text files, datasets, and folders. Once you’re happy with your sandbox, you can easily share it with others so they can see your work!
Common uses for Jupyter Notebooks include data analysis and visualization, statistical modeling, and machine learning. They’re often used by data scientists and data analysts.
Here’s some of the software that comes pre-installed in the sandbox:
- Python 2 and Python 3
- Libraries for data analysis and data science, such as
- Libraries for machine learning and deep learning, such as
You can also install software that isn’t already available using a terminal, then import them directly into your notebook.
Here is an example project using Jupyter Notebooks to perform visual data analysis:
The link at the top of this page will launch directly into this sandbox!
You can create an unlimited number of sandboxes, each storing up to 50MB of files. Any files you create in a sandbox are automatically backed up for you. You can upload any files you’re already working on and then download your files at any time to continue working outside the sandbox or add to your portfolio.
