Python Startup script

I want to start my terminal with idle (python3) already running (for newbies of Python)
I tried to write the ‘startup’ script with the command python3 in the /tmp directory and entered the ‘startup’ name (also tried ‘/tmp/startup’) it does not seem to work.
Can you tell me what am I doing wrong?
How can I start the terminal with idle already running?

Hey Raphael,

Would you be able to send us the Share URL for your sandbox so we can take a look? The “Share” icon can be found in the bottom-left corner of your environment.

Thanks!
Lorraine

HI Lorraine

Thanks for the quick response.
Here is a URL to a sandbox I set to use the startup:

Hi Raphael,

We are currently working on some improvements to the Sandbox that will make what you’re trying to accomplish much easier. In the mean time, here is a link to a Python Sandbox that includes a startup script that will launch the Python shell in the terminal on start: https://nt.dev/s/9aecb06cae7e

Let us know if we can be of any further assistance!

Thank you very much!
It works.

Best Regards
Rafi
